Network and Security Specialist


Overview

The Network and Security Specialist program will help students learn the networking and computing skills necessary for a career in the planning, implementing, administering, supporting and securing networked computer systems and their users.

Students will study network design, installation, maintenance and management as well as implementation, and operating computer services.

  • A+
  • Network+ and Security+
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)

Students will also take a career and employment strategies course that will provide techniques on job interviewing, resume preparation, writing thank you letters, and job search management.
